چکیده
Abstract Organo-mineral fertilizers supplemented with biological additives are an alternative to chemical fertilizers. In this study, thermoresistant microorganisms from composting mass were isolated by two-step procedures. First, samples taken at different time points and temperatures (33 days 52 ºC, 60 63 over 365 26 ºC) pre-incubated 80 oC for 30 minutes. Second, the microbial selection in vitro culture-based methods heat shock 100 2h 4h. Forty-one isolates able grow °C 4h; twenty-seven 2h, two The molecular identification partial sequencing of 16S ribosomal gene using universal primers revealed that thirty-five eight Bacillus species, one Brevibacillus borstelensis, three Streptomyces thermogriseus, fungi (Thermomyces lanuginosus T. dupontii). Data amylase, phytase, cellulase activity assays enzymatic index (EI) showed 38 41 thermo-resistant produce least enzyme. For amylase activity, highest EI value was observed licheniformis (isolate 21C2, EI= 4.11), followed borstelensis 6C2, 3.66), cereus 18C2, 3.52), paralicheniformis 20C2, 3.34). values 2.30) 3C1, 2.15). Concerning cellulose production, B. altitudinis 6C1) most efficient (EI= 6.40), subtilis (isolates 9C1, 16C2, 19C2) 5.66, 5.84, 5.88, respectively, pumilus 27C2, 5.78). selected potentially useful as a additive organo-mineral other biotechnological processes.

Biosurfactant are surface active compounds produced by microorganisms. These molecules reduce surface tension between aqueous solutions and hydrocarbon mixtures. Hundred hydrocarbon saturated soil samples were collected from thirty different areas in Chennai, TamilNadu, India. Seventy two bacterial strains were isolated and cultured by enriching carbon (Glycerol) source. Each culture medium was...
